Bio Overview
Angelo Auteri currently focuses his practice on municipal government serving as corporation counsel for the Town of West New York and the City of Union City. Mr. Auteri also has extensive experience managing construction code litigation matters and representing public and private sector employers on a broad range of labor and employment topics including disciplinary hearings, grievance arbitrations and labor negotiations.

Angelo Auteri currently focuses his practice on municipal government serving as corporation counsel for the Town of West New York and the City of Union City. Mr. Auteri also has extensive experience managing construction code litigation matters and representing public and private sector employers on a broad range of labor and employment topics including disciplinary hearings, grievance arbitrations and labor negotiations.
Mr. Auteri has served as counsel to counties, educational institutions, law enforcement agencies and municipalities in various areas including the defense of wrongful termination, workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims. Additionally, Mr. Auteri has assisted in the compliance of Open Public Records Act requests, and the development of contracts, personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements. He also has experience in land use and zoning law, providing counsel to municipalities in the interpretation of zoning laws and building codes such as the Uniform Construction Code, in furtherance of re-development projects and building applications. Previously, Mr. Auteri practiced in real estate law, representing buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions including the negotiation and drafting of leases and contracts.
