Biography
Erica R. Aliperta is an associate in the firm’s Public Law practice group. Her practice focuses on transactional and regulatory matters, including contract and policy review, real estate and property-related analysis, and research involving state and municipal regulations that impact public sector operations.
Before joining the firm, Erica gained experience across several areas of law through internships and hands-on legal roles. She worked with Wertheimer Fredman, LLC, where she handled trusts, estates, and real estate matters, including preparing probate filings, reviewing contracts and land records, assisting fiduciaries, and participating in residential closings. She also served as a legal intern with the Office of the County Counsel in Los Angeles, Property Division, where she worked on land use issues, contracts, and commercial property transactions for county agencies, and gained exposure to zoning enforcement and public real estate matters.
Erica also completed internships in personal injury litigation and transactional work, contributing to the drafting of agreements, supporting contract review, preparing court filings, and conducting legal research to support case strategy.
Erica earned her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, from The City College of New York.
