  • Michael J. Willner is a member of the firm’s commercial real estate, litigation, finance, and land use practice sections. While his practice covers virtually all aspects of real estate law, Mr. Willner focuses his practice on handling matters relating to condominium and cooperative law, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and related litigation.

Over the span of his career, Mr. Willner has litigated a wide variety of matters involving landlord-tenant law, zoning issues, mechanic’s liens, foreclosure actions, contract disputes, construction defect claims, and other management issues. Mr. Willner regularly applies the knowledge he’s gained from litigating complex real estate matters to his representation of condominium and cooperative boards, individual unit owners, shareholders, purchasers and sellers, as well as landlords and tenants, providing them with comprehensive general counsel services and transactional guidance. To that end, Mr. Willner drafts license and construction agreements, real estate contracts, indemnification agreements, and is familiar with a myriad of transactional issues including sales and purchases, refinances, and commercial and residential lease agreements.

Mr. Willner is a graduate of the Syracuse University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, the State University of New York.
