Oleksandr Kryvenko is a litigation attorney in the firm’s New York City office. His practice spans across arbitration, commercial and civil litigation, real estate disputes, and appellate work. He represents individual and corporate clients, advises on business and legal matters, and handles cases from inception through resolution.
Across his litigation practice, Oleksandr has built a record of favorable results. He has secured preliminary injunctions, orders of attachment, temporary restraining orders, and relief in aid of arbitration. He has defended arbitration awards against attempts to vacate them and obtained summary judgments in breach-of-contract matters. Additionally, Oleksandr was successful in striking counterclaims from adversaries’ pleadings, compelling document production, and securing a protective order to prevent discovery abuse by adversaries.
Oleksandr has also served as either a counsel or co-counsel in several New York appellate matters, including Rawlins v. Sheppard, 169 A.D.3d 440 (1st Dept. 2019), and Gambarian et al. v. Spivakov, 2024-03973 (2d Dept. 2025). The Rawlins ruling was referenced by the Trusts and Estates Law Section Journal of the New York State Bar Association (Spring/Summer 2019, Vol. 52, No.1).
Oleksandr is active in the New York legal community. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at the New York County Lawyers’ Association (“NYCLA”), and is the Founding Chair of the NYCLA’s Committee on Inclusion of International Lawyers in the U.S. Legal Profession.
Oleksandr is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
