Little Falls, NJ – December 3, 2024 – Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC Partner and Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Entertainment & Media Practice Groups Ronald S. Bienstock was featured on the Bloomberg Law podcast to discuss a development in the ongoing feud between artists Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Hosted by June Grasso, Mr. Bienstock touches on Drake’s decision to initiate legal action against Spotify and Universal Music Group (UMG), alleging that the two companies artificially inflated the popularity of Kenrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” In addition, the petition claims defamation for lyrics in the song alluding to Drake being a sex offender.
