Scarinci Hollenbeck Cannabis Attorney Daniel T. McKillop to Appear as Co-Keynote Speaker at New Jersey Environmental Health Association’s Annual Conference
On the morning of Monday, March 2, 2020, Scarinci Hollenbeck Cannabis Attorney Daniel T. McKillop will appear as a co-keynote speaker at the New Jersey Environmental Health Association’s (NJEHA) annual conference in Atlantic City, NJ. Each year, the NJEHA holds a three-day conference, inviting health officers, registered environmental health specialists, public health nurses, environmental consultants, health educators, and more to attend seminars featuring expert speakers covering a wide range of environmental and public health topics. On day two of this year’s conference, Mr. McKillop will provide an overview of the legal and regulatory issues relating to the CBD industry alongside Toby Amidor, a nutritionist who will be speaking about CBD in foods and beverages.
About the New Jersey Environmental Health Association (NJEHA)
The New Jersey Environmental Health Association (NJEHA), the recognized state affiliate of the National Environmental Health Association, has been aiding the state’s environmental health professionals since 1954. The NJEHA’s mission is to support the professional growth of environmental health specialists, provide a unified and informed voice in the development of public health practice and policy, and enhance the ability of members to aptly promote environmental and public health locally, regionally and globally.
Scarinci Hollenbeck Counsel Daniel T. McKillop is Chair of the Firm’s Cannabis Law Section, which is comprised of more than a dozen attorneys from each of the firm’s practice areas. Selected by the National Law Journal as a 2018 Cannabis Law Trailblazer, Mr. McKillop represents current cannabis industry operators as well as entities seeking to obtain medical and adult-use cannabis licenses, and he has a thorough knowledge of current Federal and state medical and adult-use cannabis law and proposed legislation. Mr. McKillop regularly authors articles and presents at various events regarding the cannabis industry, and he is a member of the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association and a former Editor of the Cannabis Law Journal.
