Edelstein will be speaking at an event entitled, “Investing in Economic Opportunity Zones: What You Need to Know About the New Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”. The event, hosted by Titlevest and sponsored by the Firm, will feature a presentation held by Mr. Cassin and Ms. Edelstein in collaboration with Robert P. Russo, CPA. The presentation will provide a comprehensive look at the Qualified Opportunity Zone Program, which is a new tax incentive program built into the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act oriented towards directing private capital investment into certain designated zones.

“The Qualified Opportunity Zone Program offers benefits which investors, both in real estate and otherwise, need to consider. Our aim is to provide investors, real estate agents and other interested parties a forum to learn more about the opportunities and challenges of the QOZ program. We look forward to seeing you there,” stated Jeffrey K. Cassin.
The event will be moderated by James Melnichok, Managing Director of Client Services at Titlevest. One hour of Continuing Education credit will be made available to licensed real estate agents and at the end of the course, time will be allotted for drinks and networking.
