Scarinci Hollenbeck is pleased to share that John M. Scagnelli, Esq., an environmental law attorney with the firm, will serve as an instructor for an upcoming professional training program hosted by the Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA).
The four-hour course, “Due Diligence,” will take place on February 5, 2026, from 12:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., and is designed for environmental professionals involved in real estate transactions, site remediation, and regulatory compliance. LSRPA is an industry advocacy organization and continuing education provider for remediation practitioners throughout New Jersey.
The program will focus on environmental due diligence requirements in New Jersey, including the application of ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Preliminary Assessments, the role and responsibilities of Licensed Site Remediation Professionals, common legal challenges in property transactions, and recent updates to ASTM standards. The course will also incorporate real-world case studies addressing practical considerations, risk management, and best practices encountered during environmental assessments.
John Scagnelli will join a panel of experienced environmental professionals serving as instructors for the course, including William P. Call, PG, LSRP, Integral Consulting, Inc., and David J. Morris, CHMM, LSRP, Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, D.P.C. Together, the instructors will provide technical and legal perspectives on environmental due diligence issues that arise in connection with property development, transactions, and remediation matters.
