NJBIZ’s Annual 2022 Leaders in Law Recognizes Environmental Attorney John M. Scagnelli
Lyndhurst, NJ – April 28, 2022 – John M. Scagnelli has been named by NJBIZ to the Leaders in Law list for 2022. John was recognized for his various contributions to the development of New Jersey environmental law. Throughout his 40 years of experience in the field, John has taught numerous environmental law courses, written and spoken extensively on environmental law matters and has served in key roles for organizations like the NJDEP, New Jersey State League of Municipalities, the New Jersey LSRPA and he serves as a New Jersey Commissioner on the Interstate Environmental Commission.
“I am honored to be recognized as a leader in law,” remarked Mr. Scagnelli. “I have appreciated the opportunity to work with clients and organizations regarding environmental matters over the years and contribute to the environmental law field.”
Every year, the NJBIZ Leaders in Law list highlights attorneys and general counsel “whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding.” After being nominated by their peers, honorees are then chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system. A celebration showcasing the honorees will take place on May 24 from 8-10 AM at The Palace at Somerset Park, 333 Davidson Ave. in Somerset, NJ.
