Eleven Scarinci Hollenbeck Attorneys Named to New Jersey Super Lawyers 2027 and Rising Stars Lists

Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC is pleased to announce that 11 of its attorneys were selected for the New Jersey Super Lawyers 2027 and Rising Stars lists. Six attorneys were named to the Super Lawyers list, and five were named to the Rising Stars list. The annual lists, released on September 30, 2026, recognize attorneys with a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

The firm’s honorees were recognized in eight practice areas, including bankruptcy, environmental law, cannabis law, business litigation, and employment and labor law. Three attorneys join the firm’s New Jersey honorees for the first time: Mark A. Tabakin, Deanna M. Digori, and Graham K. Staton.

How Super Lawyers Selects Attorneys

Super Lawyers is a rating service that selects attorneys each year, state by state, using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research, and attorneys cannot nominate themselves or pay to be included.

The process has four steps:

1. Nominations. Attorneys enter the candidate pool when a peer nominates them, or the Super Lawyers research department identifies them.
2. Independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including experience, honors and awards, verdicts and settlements, transactions, and pro bono and community service.
3. Peer evaluation. The highest-scoring candidates in each practice area serve on a “blue ribbon” panel and rate other candidates in that practice area.
4. Final selection. Candidates are grouped into four firm-size categories, and the highest-scoring candidates in each category are selected.

Five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the Super Lawyers list. Rising Stars candidates go through the same process and must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list.
