Little Falls, NJ – July 11, 2023 – One of New Jersey’s leading business journals, NJBIZ, included the firm as a recipient for its inaugural Empowering Women award program. Fifty-three companies and organizations have been recognized for their efforts to advance women in the workplace and community. The firm will gratefully accept this award at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset, NJ this August.

“It is time to honor those organizations that invest in, elevate and support women leaders,” Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher and managing director of NJBIZ. “Women leaders can only succeed with the support of the organizations they work for and with.”

Empowering Women 2023

The honorees for the Empowering Women award program were chosen based on their commitment to some or all of the following:

  • Have a track record of recruiting, hiring and promoting women.
  • Offer a mentoring program for women.
  • Work toward systemic change in society to combat inequality.
  • Place women on the board or in the C-suite.
  • Contribute to advancing the cause of women through outside philanthropic or community endeavors.
  • Support programs that assist marginalized women.
  • Provide scholarship assistance to women.

“Elevating women within the firm and recruiting a diverse range of attorneys has long been our mission,” stated Katerin Traugh, Executive Director. “I am proud of this acknowledgement as it is a testament to the hard work the firm has collectively committed to in order to create a more inclusive, supportive workforce.”
