“It has been an incredible privilege to collaborate with some of the state’s finest practitioners of law to best serve our clients. I am grateful for this recognition and for the many years I have been able to dedicate to helping solve complex problems on behalf of others,” stated Mr. Sullivan.

With the Unsung Heroes award, the Law Journal sought to honor individual attorneys whose work done “behind the scenes” distinguishes them as indispensable to the efforts of their firm. At Scarinci Hollenbeck, William C. Sullivan, Jr. plays an integral role in the firm’s Environmental & Land Use practice. He has garnered over thirty years of experience in his practice, during which he has covered the full range of Environmental & Land Use matters. His deep knowledge of land use permitting in addition to various regulations as they relate to environmental compliance and much more has enabled Mr. Sullivan to secure vital approvals required to move major projects forward. Mr. Sullivan’s work has proven invaluable in the firm’s servicing of developers in numerous key development and redevelopment projects conducted throughout New Jersey and the Meadowlands region in particular.

“Over the fifteen years of having the pleasure of working alongside Bill, I can say with confidence that there is no one more deserving than him for this recognition,” remarked John M. Scagnelli, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Environmental & Land Use practice. “His contributions to the region are immeasurable and I am honored to consider him both a colleague and a friend.”
