201-896-4100 info@sh-law.comLyndhurst, New Jersey, October 12, 2016 – Scarinci Hollenbeck is pleased to welcome Michael Jimenez, who has joined the firm as Counsel. He will be a resident of the Lyndhurst office.

Mr. Jimenez concentrates his practice on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing. His clients include real estate developers and owners, business entities, financial institutions, and public and private business organizations. Throughout his career, he has also provided counsel to numerous restaurant owners in Bergen and Hudson County. In that capacity, he assisted with all the initial preparation to open their businesses and obtain required state and municipal approvals. He has also appeared before numerous Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) boards to facilitate the purchase and transfer of plenary liquor licenses.
“Michael joins a terrific transactional team. His skills and experience will resonate well with both our private and municipal clients, and he brings a lot to the table,” said Russell Ascher, the firm’s Executive Director.
In the public law arena, Mr. Jimenez has handled numerous Local Public Contracts Law and Open Public Records Act matters. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of public positions throughout Hudson and Bergen counties. As counsel to several school boards, he has assisted municipalities with employee grievances, disciplinary hearings, student discipline, pupil records, bidding, contracts, family and medical leave disputes.
Immediately before joining Scarinci Hollenbeck, Mr. Jimenez was a name partner at Ryglicki, Jimenez & Gillman, P.C., a general practice law firm based in Newark, New Jersey.
