Edward “Teddy” Eynon heads the firm's Government Strategies practice group. Teddy regularly represents clients in numerous government-related matters, including public policy, energy and environment, budget, defense, healthcare, financial services, transportation & infrastructure, congressional investigations, and oversight issues.

  • Edward “Teddy” Eynon heads the firm’s Government Strategies practice group. Teddy regularly represents clients in numerous government-related matters, including public policy, energy and environment, budget, defense, healthcare, financial services, transportation & infrastructure, congressional investigations, and oversight issues.

    Prior to joining the firm, Teddy served as partner at a prominent Washington, D.C. firm where he focused his practice on public policy and government relations. He has also served as outside general counsel to companies in the national security and energy industries.

    In addition, Teddy has experience representing clients from a broad range of industries including trade, sanctions, healthcare, financial services, energy & environmental, appropriations, defense and homeland security.

    Teddy also has an extensive background in politics and public policy and has experience dealing with all levels of the federal government. He has served as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative John Shadegg of Arizona, where he gathered hands-on experience and understanding of the legislative process.

    Teddy is very involved in issues surrounding advocacy for people with Down Syndrome. He and his wife founded the non-profit Mamie’s Mile in honor of their daughter Mamie Grace. He is an avid supporter of the National Down Syndrome Society and serves on its board of directors for the NDSS’s Government and Advocacy Board. He also serves on the board of ChildHelp, Washington, DC Chapter, and is a member of the Foster Care Program, Washington, DC Chapter. He currently serves on the Cannabis Law Journal’s 2016 Editorial Advisory Board and on the board of the Arizona Sports & Tourism Authority (AZSTA).

    For the last two decades, Teddy has been active in the Phoenix community where he volunteers for the Gigi Playhouse and serves on the board of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority, a politically appointed position.
